This plugin makes it possible to import emails from an IMAP mailbox into the ticket system.

Through many settings and functions you can customize the extension according to your wishes.

  • Creation of multiple IMAP accounts possible.
  • Decide in which category the email should be imported.
  • Decide to which folder the email should be moved after import.
  • Decide if the email should be deleted after import.
  • For each account it is possible to choose separately if attachments should be imported, and if so which file extensions should be imported.
  • It is possible that the not imported file attachments are listed in the ticket (without being imported).
  • When importing the emails, the email address will be matched with the already registered users. If an email address already exists, the ticket will be created on behalf of that user.
  • When a user replies to an e-mail from the ticket system, he will be informed by e-mail that e-mail replies cannot be processed. The ticket system recognizes the replies by the ticket number in the form of [ticket number] in the subject of the email.
  • Optionally, it can be set in the IMAP account that e-mail replies are recorded as a response in the ticket. However, the complete email (so including any previous responses in the email) will be imported.
  • Note: The extension cannot handle signed/encrypted messages.

This extension requires the PHP extension "php-imap".

IMPORTANT: The "Ticket System" plugin and must be installed beforehand.
