I do not know if I opened a topic about this. But if there is a button in the control panel where we can close and open the sections we create, whether it is a category or a forum, it would be very good.
But when it is closed, it should not appear in any way and access should not be provided by typing the URL.

You can simply revoke the permissions to view that forum, which will effectively make it disappear everywhere, including the inability to access it by typing the exact URL.

But sometimes you already set up all necessary permissions for a forum (which can quite take a while) and you just want to disable the forum, because i.e. something isn‘t released yet. Then you don‘t want to destroy all the effort you put in setting up alle the permissions.
