Hide number of unread posts in menu if the category is hidden

    Hello,

    I would like to know if it's something that will be implemented in WSC 3.1 and if not, if it could be because it's really needed :)

    Actually if you want to show a category in a different main menu link, if this category contain a new unread post, there is a red label with the number "1" to the right of this menu link, in the default forum link AND in the new link. So you see "1" in two links. And this, even if you choose to hide this category in the forum list, to show it only by a direct link via the menu.

    Is it something that will be modified to show the unread post number only in the correct link if the category is hidden in the forum list ?

    Woltlab has created a new test private forum and I just posted this question in there too.

    I am a Newbie Admin. Please be gentle, I don't understand technical things.
    (Please can we have a full manual for this software)

    Alexander has just confirmed to me in my thread in the private test forum, (which you can't see because its private!;)) that the red unread notifications will only show for the thread author and staff who have permission to view the private forum, nobody else.

    I'm not entirely sure if that is what GeGeek was talking about, as he is talking about categories, whereas I'm talking about the new private forum function which will be released in the next software version.

    I am a Newbie Admin. Please be gentle, I don't understand technical things.
    (Please can we have a full manual for this software)
