Increase the effectiveness of your moderation

Do you sometimes lose track of conspicuous users in your moderation team? Would you like to store internal comments on individual users so that they can be found quickly and easily by your team? Then this plugin can help you! It provides a new tab in user profiles where moderators can write comments - without the user noticing! To make sure that every moderator knows about your moderation comment, they will receive a notification if they have the required permission. You can also configure a box that lists the latest moderation comments. Additionally, the user will be marked with a warning icon and hint text at different places on your website if there is a recent moderation comment about them.



Configuration

You can configure this plugin in the ACP under Configuration ⇒ Users ⇒ Profile ⇒ Moderation Comments. It is possible to disable the confidentiality notice above the moderation comments and it is possible to define how long a moderation comment is considered recent (relevant for the warning icon in the user information).

Furthermore, you can determine which user groups should have access to the moderation comments. The corresponding permissions can be found when editing a user group under Moderator Permissions ⇒ General ⇒ Moderation Comments in User Profiles. Each user who is allowed to receive notifications for moderation comments can enable or disable the notifications for new moderation comments in their settings.

Moreover, a new system box using the controller Moderation Comments in User Profiles can be created under Content ⇒ Boxes.

    kann es sein, dass seit einigen Updates man nun nicht mehr Benachrichtigungen über alle neuen Moderationskommentare bekommt?


    Als Admin in einem Forum wäre es super, wenn man über jeden einzelnen neuen Moderationskommentar benachrichtigt werden würde. Genau das war in der Version 1.0.1 gegeben, ist offenbar seit dem Update auf die 1.1.0 jedoch verschwunden.


    Handelt es sich hier um einen Fehler oder über eine bewusste Entscheidung bei der Implementierung der neuen Benachrichtigungsberechtigung?

    gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Benachrichtigungen zu neuen Moderationskommentaren individuell einstellen zu können? Also so, dass nicht jeder, der Zugriff auf die Moderationskommentare hat, auch gleich Benachrichtigungen über neue Kommentare bekommt.

    • Das können Benutzer, die über das Recht verfügen, Moderationskommentare sehen zu können, in den eigenen Benachrichtigungseinstellungen anpassen.


      Ansonsten kannst du im ACP auch die Vorgabewerte für Benachrichtigungen ändern: /acp/index.php?notification-preset-settings/

    • Ja, das ist schon in Ordnung. Kannst du aber dennoch hinzufügen, welche Benutzergruppen diese Benachrichtigung grundsätzlich erhält?


      Ein Beispiel: Wir haben 50 Supporter im Team und jeder dieser 50 Supporter können Moderationskommentare auf Benutzerprofilen verfassen. Die ganze Zeit in den Benachrichtigungen mit Moderationskommentar-Benachrichtigungen vollgespammt zu werden, ist für die Supporter zu viel des Guten. Deswegen soll die Teamleitung, bestehend aus 5 Leuten, alle Benachrichtigungen sehen können, um so auf unnötige Kommentare schneller reagieren zu können.

  • Glaube noch etwas gefunden: Wenn Nutzer ihr Profil für die Öffentlichkeit gesperrt haben, kann man die Moderationskommentare leider nicht sehen.

    • Du müsstest deinen Moderatoren das administrative Benutzergruppenrecht „Kann versteckte Profilinformationen sehen“ erteilen. Beachte jedoch, dass sie dann das gesamte Benutzerprofil sehen können. Mit einer anderen Lösung kann ich leider nicht dienen.

    • Gut danke, das reicht mir erstmal als Antwort. Wenn du das noch steuerbar machen würdest für die Zukunft, wäre es ein nettes Feature :)

    • Ich befürchte, das wird technisch leider ohne Weiteres erstmal nicht möglich sein 😕

    • Hmm, na gut über den Umweg geht es ja auch. Darauf haben ja nur Moderatoren Zugriff.

  • Hab doch etwas gefunden: wird ein Kommentar gleich wieder gelöscht, bleibt das Hinweis Symbol weiter bestehen. Kannste das bitte fixen? :)

    • Das kann ich so leider nicht reproduzieren. Bei mir verschwindet es wieder, nachdem ich die Seite neugeladen habe. Bestehen gegebenenfalls noch ältere Moderationskommentare im Benutzerprofil? Falls ja, musst du beachten, dass der neueste Moderationskommentar nicht mehr in das Zeitfenster für das Hinweissymbol reinfällt.

    • Nein, eben nicht, wir haben das jetzt hin und her probiert, das Ergebnis bleibt gleich: löscht man den Kommentar, ist dieser zwar weg, aber nicht das Hinweissymbol. Hängt da ein Cronjob dran? Oder fehlt einer, weil gelöscht und nicht entfernt?

    • Nein, hierfür ist kein Cronjob verantwortlich. Die Aktualisierung erfolgt sofort. Welche WSC-Version nutzt du?

    • Sonderbar. Aber wie gesagt, im Team fällt das einfach schnell auf, wenn mehrere die Funktion nutzen :) Version ist die 5.2.10 unter PHP 7.4.13.
