I compared the versions and this only happens in WBB 4.1. In desktop resolution in the thread list the name and date under the title is of the author of the thread. But in mobile resolution (adaptive design) the name and date under the title is of the last reply in the thread. Everyone when looks the username under the title thinks in the author and not in the last reply.

I've read in the official woltlab forum that this was a request by the users. On a desktop, notebook or whatever you can see both and on a mobile it's not enough space. So it would be more advisable to see the author of the last post. So woltlab changed it that way.
If Woltlab want this way please add "Last reply by..." to avoid confusions.
