About 'Controller Aliasing' and 301/307 status code

Currently the renamed controllers use 307 (Temporary Redirect) http status code. Is it not better use a 301 redirect (Moved Permanently)?

I understand the new urls as permanently urls for the future (example: domain.com/board/1-lorem-ipsum changed permantly to domain.com/forum/1-lorem-ipsum). You want to use this url permanently and the change indexed/updated by search engines.
