2Factor Authentication

I would love to see a plugin (or core feature) where we can allow membership groups to utilize 2factor authentication with Google Authenticator. I used this on my last site for my moderators/admins so that they wouldn't have to worry so much about their account being compromised.

Yes, this would be a nice extension to the core - we use the built-in features in IPS4 and XenForo - would be great to see it coming to the WSC-Core aswell.

Is TimWolla's stuff still the accepted way to go for 2FA? Does it work with the latest versions?

Nope, it's not working with WSC 3.0 or higher.
