Sorting notices

So technically, I guess you could call this a bug. There should be a nice friendly message rather than an error such as things.

I had deleted all my notices and 1/2 a sleep I clicked on "save sorting". Well, obviously there isn't anything to sort so it spits out this error. But I think there could be a friendlier message (in my opinion). Either way, low priority.

  • Curious as to why this wouldn't be fixed? If I remember right, I had seen a thread about this before? @Alexander Ebert Of course it's all up to you guys though, and if it's not a big issue to worry about, then it's fine with me lol.

  • This is a general thing with deleting the last item, there is currently no mechanism to revert the form into the real "empty" state. We're looking forward to implement a proper solution for this and similar cases in the future.

Yet this issue isn't that bad because it doesn't break anything nor does it prevent the system from functioning. After all, what did you expect when you click on that button? ;)

Oh okay, thanks for clarifying. :)

    Yes true.

Not sure, but perhaps "All were removed and your options saved", or something similar. lol. :P

  • The point is that even though the error message looks bad, it is actually all fine. Because there are no items, the system rejects the action to save the order because there is nothing to save. In fact this case is properly handled by the system.

  • Good enough for me. As I said, I thought this was very low priority and not something of concern. The odds of someone coming over this is not likely... It only happened because I clicked the save button, but there was nothing to save... Which isn't something a person needs to press or do, because why would you save the order with nothing?

    Thank for explanation @Alexander Ebert
