Fatal error in "Search Members"

  • I'm not positive about this, but maybe your "wcf1_search_index" database table needs repaired, maybe try that once? I had issue updating FAQs plugin the other day, and was told that that database table randomly breaks or has issues, hence needing repaired some times. And considering the fact you're "searching" memberlist, it might be related with "wcf1_search_index" needing repaired, it's only table that's MyISAM.

  • Hi Smooey,

This is a software error. I've done tests with a newly installed forum and error always happens when custom user fields are disabled, but if any custom user field is active the error no appears.

Edit: If "Comment (internal)" and "About Me" are enabled (but no other field) the error also appear.

Oh, okay, nice catch! :D So hopefully a fix for 4.0.2pl2 then? lol.

  • @Aethior Thanks for reporting this issue, it will be fixed in the next version. To temporarily avoid the issue, you simply have to enable one of the user fields where the "Field values are searchable in the member search" option is checked.

And, the next time, please post the error message as a text rather than as an image which makes it easier for use to fix the issue. Thanks :)
