Are you running your own server or do you have a simple webspace? In the first case, what is the value of the max_allowed_packet-setting of MySQL?

Updating from Beta 4 would trigger an incremental update, causing the issues described in this thread: Issues with incremental updates

I recommend that you reinstall the software using the latest release (Beta 7).

Post what? You could save them manually from the database, but that can cause problems if you don't know what you are doing.
