I really miss a really (:)) important feature - drafts.
While you are writting a thread/post you can save it as a draft. You can go out then and back later to finish writting your content.
Optionally, but good is option to auto save drafts while posting. So the message won't disappear, for example after browser break, power off...

  • Probably because time is better spend elsewhere.

  • Maybe you are right, but I want know this directly from WoltLab. It's important function treated as "basic" in Forum Softwares.

  • I second Trace's question and support his request for comment by the Devs. Although I am not sure if the Draft feature can be treated as basic forum functionality since many popular forum softwares don't support it by default, still its definitely a very useful feature especially in forums that has some very serious discussions going on. I would really appreciate it if Mr Ebert or someone else from the Dev team could take the time to clarify why they plan to offer this feature by default. I would also like to mention that it's rather uncool to have to install a mod / plugin for such a useful feature OR wait for a modder to create one for the forum software I am using. Regards.
