    Starting off with the presentation of Burning Board 4.0, we decided to focus on videos describing any upcoming changes and improvements.

    You are free to modify the template code and remove them, if an option don't allow you to deactivate them. Personnaly, i like.

    Sure thing, I'm just wondering why this funky but unnecessary feature started by IPB virusing all the forum softwares. :) If it could show first image inthe thread wit a little bit zoom on mouseover it would be more useful than avatars. LIke this

    it's completely different, all thread don't have necessary a picture, maybe special board but not all. We can't compare an image thread and an avatar.


    And for wBB3, there is a module for display the first attached picture, in the thread-list. And if some people want this function, it's a minority.

    There are default images that show forum_new , forum_old if a thread don't have a pictures in the first post :) Sorry forgot to mention that. And if I only want it can show user's avatar as well instead of default images. But anyway thanks your reply

    Some questions.


    Still using 2.3.6 here, will it be easy to upgrade so to speak.


    Will the price differ much from WBB3.


    If I bought WWB 3 today would I be able to get WBB4 for free.


    And lastly, when will it be released guys, it's killing me. A bit of a hint would be great, spring, summer, winter, Christmas etc.

    There is an Importer for WBB 3 to import the data of WBB 2.
    I can't image that there will be an importer from WBB 2 to WBB 4 directly. But you should be able to import step by step, from WBB 2 to WBB 3 and to WBB 4. I think you should get access to WBB 3, if you buy WBB 2, especially if there isn't any possiblity to import from WBB 2 to WBB 4 n one step.
    If you buy WBB 3 in the basic version for around 50 €, you don't have access for WBB 4. But if you know buy update for around 40 € of your WBB 2 and WBB 4 will be released within one year, you get access to WBB 3.1 AND WBB 4.

    Ok, thanks, so if I buy WBB3 today with the update option I will get WBB4, is that a guaranteed done deal?
