WoltLab Cloud Consent for advertising / paid subscriptions 5.5.1

Provides DSGVO-compliant consent for advertising placement with an alternative option for paid subscription.

The plugin "Consent for advertising / PUR subscription" is a DSGVO-compliant solution for integrating advertising and external scripts into the WoltLab Suite. With the plugin, site operators can integrate advertising and external scripts that share data with third parties in a legally compliant manner without having to resort to third-party solutions that incur monthly costs. The consent texts can be individually adapted by the administrator.


The plugin sets the variable $__disableAds until the user has given their consent to the display of advertising and external scripts. This completely covers WoltLab's internal advertising management. External scripts or cookies can simply be created as ad banners or enclosed in the template with the code {if !$__disableAds}<script>SCRIPT HERE</script>{/if} to ensure that they are not loaded until the user has given consent.

    • Ein großes Featureupdate, welches neben Fehlerbehebungen auch neue Funktionen beinhaltet wartet bereits auf Freischaltung.

  • Gibt es dafür auch eine online-Demo?

    Wie verhält es sich bei Gästen?

    Das Fenster kommt einmalig (Cookie?) und dann mit Klick auf den linken Button normal weiter wie immer und mit Rechtsklick gehts wohin? Zu dem bezahlten Mitgliedschaften?

    Was ist, wenn diese nicht von Gästen besucht werden können (je nach Einstellung Gruppenrecht)?


    PS: Wäre generell interesant deine Plugins auf einem Testsystem durchzuspielen - incl ACP.

    • Ja das geht. Gesteuert wird die Berechtigung über die Benutzergruppen. Wie der Nutzer die Benutzergruppe bekommt (Viecode-Shop, bezahlte Mitgliedschaften, JCoins etc.) ist dabei egal.

    • Ich kenne das Plugin leider nicht. Da müsstest du dort einmal nachfragen ob die WoltLab-Variable $__disableAds berücksichtigt wird. Falls nicht, kann man das aber sicher per Templateänderung nachrüsten. (womöglich unterstützen die EasyAds-Banner sogar TemplateCode?)

  • A quick suggestion on adding to this to expand it's features a tad more;


    1) Would there be an option to possibly have an exit (X) at the banner/pop-up that occurs so it's not forced on every page view if someone declines (and than to save this, so that the $disableAds stays at true until they consent through the Privacy Policy link)?

    • Wenn man die kritischen Cookie-Scripte entsprechend der Anleitung in Werbebannern oder Templates platziert kann das Plugin auch als cookie-consent-tool genutzt werden.


      Ggf. müssen Hinweis-Texte und Datenschutzhinweise an die individuellen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden.

    • wie das so abänderbar ist was man alles adden kann via acp da ich so ein Mensch mit das ich es vorher selber "testen" uns sozusagen "anfassen" muss bevor ich es mir kaufe

    • Generell kannst du alles, was du dort siehst inhaltlich ändern. Den Großteil über Sprachvariablen und größere Anpassungen auch per Templateänderungen.


      Technisch verhält es sich so, dass jeder Code, der mit {if {!$__disableAds}CODE{/if} umschlossen wird (oder in einem WoltLab-Werbebanner steckt), erst nach der Zustimmung des Nutzers geladen wird. Ob es sich dabei um Werbung handelt, Google Analytics, externe Schriftarten oder irgendwelche Cookies spielt dabei keine Rolle. Das Plugin kann also problemlos als "cookie-paywall" benutzt werden.


      Der Bereich mit dem "PUR-Abo" ist übrigens optional. Trägt man keine URL zu einer Bestellseite ein, wird der Bereich im banner ausgeblendet.

    im ACP gleich wo man das tool einstellen kann eine textbox wo man seine Scripte einfügen kann die dann auf $__disableAds gepackt werden wenn der user ein "paid rang" hat damit es einfach noch mehr outofthebox funktioniert
