This plugin allows users to easily create topics and posts about steam games and fill them with content

Features

  • Users can add steam games to posts. After attaching the information, which can be done easily using a search with auto complete, the thread will show various information about the game above the post.
  • Discussed steam games can be shown in boxes.
  • Posting games can be restricted to certain forums.
  • Game forums show posted steam content with the game poster above the thread list.
  • Access rights to edit and post games.
  • Compatible with Profile Integration for Steam: Users who own the given game are listed in ThreadStarter posts. The
    Steam integration game pages show enriched game information from the ThreadStarter Steam plugin. Thisa information is also shown for games without a ThreadStarter topic.

Further Information

  • To use ThreadStarter: Steam the steam search index has to be created using rebuild data.
  • The WoltLab ImageProxy or the noexcept ImageProxy should be used to reduce slow access to API images.
  • Available languages: English and German.
