WoltLab Cloud JCoins: Vouchers 5.5.7

This product requires the base product JCoins.

This plugin for WoltLab Suite allows the usage of JCoins vouchers in your community.

If you are using the credit system JCoins in your community you probably know, that it isn't possible to distribute free JCoins among your members, e.g. on special occasions like community anniversaries. You can easily change this by using JCoins Vouchers.

Description

Using this plugin for WoltLab Suite 3 and JCoins you can create vouchers for your members in the ACP and inform the members on the availability of vouchers using the notification features of the Framework. Besides the amount of JCoins you can specify which users can redeem the vouchers and how long or how often the vouchers can be redeemed. Vouchers with limited number of redemptions may be raffled under the configured users, if you wish.


Additionally, vouchers can be automatically given to users on their birthday and/or membership anniversary or during registration. You also can periodically distribute vouchers and create vouchers that require a code to redeem.


If enabled under Notification Settings, members are informed about new vouchers via a system notification or email (not for code voucher). Practically all actions related to vouchers are logged and can be viewed in the ACP at any time.

Configuration

Configuration of the vouchers is done in ACP under User - JCoins Vouchers. Basic settings are configured under Configuration - Users - JCoins.


After configuration, the dispatch of vouchers is done automatically via a cronjob. However, they must be activated in the voucher list beforehand.

Already sent vouchers can be changed retrospectively, but only limited. When deleting vouchers, redeemed vouchers are excluded; members retain the JCoins obtained with the voucher.


This extension will install the BBCode "jcvwsm" to allow a voucher preview in the ACP. The BBCode can not be used in the frontend.

  • I have setup both a once and a recurring voucher for akorns for a specific user group, however no vouchers are being delivered.


    I tried manually running the cron jobs, and tried both with the raffle feature enabled and disabled.


    I'm not sure what else I need to do to make sure these vouchers are sent, can you please provide some assistance?


    I'm on Woltlab suite 5.3.4

    • Are the vouchers activated?

    • What do you mean by activated? They are listed in the Vouchers section and applied to the user group for a 1 month recurring and even after running the cron jobs, nobody is receiving the vouchers.

    • Ahhh.. I just realized what you meant by the activation check mark. That was a dumb mistake, thank you!


      I have one other question, what is the Raffle check mark? I'm not sure how that works from not checking off the raffle feature?

    • Activated in the vouchers list in the ACP. If they are, I guess you should contact me by conversation and provide the full configuration. Comments are not really suitable. But, please, do not expect an answer before tomorrow morning.

    • Raffle: If you limit the vouchers and if you have more users than vouchers, the vouchers are given to randomly selected users.

    Kann es sein, das es für 5.2 noch einen kleinen Cronjob Bug gibt ?

    Jeden Tag ist jcoins gutscheine - verteilung aus und auch - Zeitplan

    • Mir ist keiner bekannt. Es gab auch in 5.2 keine Änderungen bei den Cronjobs. Bitte mal prüfen, ob es irgendwelche Fehlermeldungen gibt (Fehler-, Cronjob-Protokoll). Falls ja, bitte in meinem Forum oder per Konversation posten.

    • Ich kann das Problem nicht der Erweiterung zuordnen; muss einen anderen Grund haben.

  • Hallo ich habe mal eine Frage und zwar gibt es eine Möglichkeit dass ein bestimmter Nutzer zu dem Gutschein auch den Code gleich dazu bekommen kann? Weil bis jetzt musste ich die Code immer aus dem Admin Menü raussuchen und dem Kunden selber per Chat schicken.

  • Ist ein Update geplant, wo man auch Produkte als Gutschein erstellen kann? Also das der User dann keine JCoins bekommt, sondern das Produkt. Sprich eine Art "moderativer Produkt-Kauf".
