Wie Breit Pixel x Pixel darf der Header MAX sein

(vielleicht habe ich beim Lesen Selber den Punkt auch übersehen)

denn ich gehe mal auch vom smartTV InterNet Benutzer aus mit mehr als 1900 Pixel Breite

Wie gross Max darf das Header Bild sein ???

(unter 1 MB Grenze Verständlich in JPG Komprimierungen)

Hello,

Yesterday I purchased the Header Image Rotation Plugin. How do I adjust the settings in order to have ONLY the images display I have uploaded to this Plugin, and not the image (1) that I have in "Styles".

Currently BOTH are showing in my Forum Header - so at least temporarily I have disengaged the images in the Image Header Plugin.

Please advise me as to what I must do in order to have only the images in this Plugin display in my Forum Header Area.

Finde es eine tolle Sache, aber ist das normal das es ne Sekunde oder länger dauert bis der Background erscheint ? Es sind ja nur 700kb. Oder muss man da irgendwas noch optimieren ?

Gibt es sowas auch für Video Backgrounds oder ist sowas geplant ?

Hallo,

die Änderung erfolgt per JavaScript, die generell erst am Ende stattfindet, da WoltLab das JavaScript entsprechend eingebunden hat. Wir haben keine Möglichkeit, das zu umgehen, ohne mit Best Practices zu brechen.

Davon abgesehen sind 700 KiB für ein Bild doch schon sehr viel. Für mein Empfinden sollte kein Bild auf einer Website 500 KiB überschreiten. Dazu gehören dann natürlich die allgemeine Erreichbarkeit und wie groß die Website insgesamt ist.

ok ich versuche mal die Bilder zu verkleinern. Kann eseventuell damit zu tun haben, das im Stil noch ein BG und Logo aufgerufen wird ? Sollte ich dies eventuell mal aus der css entfernen oder so ?

ok ich habe die Bilder nun auf unter 300 kb und den Rest aus der css entfernt, aber leider bleibt das so und es dauert gefühlt leider eine ewigkeit bis der BG nachgeladen hat. Nun wie Du schon sagst, liegt dann wohl am Java. Danke Dir für Deine schnelle Antwort.

Da das Ganze beim Seitenaufruf passiert, gibt es keinen Übergangseffekt oder ähnliches.

Ahso, dann habe ich es wohl falsch verstanden.

Ich habe gedacht dass wechselt sich wie in einem Slider, nicht bei einem neuen Seitenaufruf.

Wenn du eher einen Slider willst, kannst du dieses Plugin nutzen:

Das kann man mit ein paar wenigen Schritten auch in den Header bekommen. Erst in den vergangenen Tagen habe ich das einem Kunden bei uns im Supportforum erklärt, wie das geht. :)
