    Hello,


    I am looking at getting the Cloud subscription and have a few queries.


    1. Does the software support push notifications?
    2. Does the software support PWAs? Can we convert the forum into a Progressive web app?
    3. How we can increase the storage limit in cloud?
    4. Can we opt to host the cloud in a different region?

    We currently support realtime push notifications through our very own push service that does not rely on third parties. We’re having plans to add support for native push notifications in an upcoming version.


    PWAs are currently not supported, because they offer only limited use at this time except for displaying a fancy offline message. This feature is still under consideration, but we believe that it currently makes more sense to focus on other aspects.


    We offer bespoke plans with both increased request limits and storage capacity. Please feel free to reach out to us via ticket or email to woltlab@woltlab.com and we can discuss what your requirements are.


    Hosting is offered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany only at this time, because we do not rely on US-based cloud hosting services. Instead we run our own “bare metal” servers in order to fully comply with the EU-GDPR for a maximum of data privacy.

    With reference to the above phrase from the user manual, I have a query. Is this functionality not available in the demo or is it no longer supported? I can not find the particular functionality in the Demo instance at all!

    This feature requires additional changes to work properly including but not limited assigning existing content to languages. We therefore enable this feature on behalf of the customer upon request and take care that everything will be set up correctly. Demos are based on the WoltLab Cloud infrastructure and thus inherit the same principles.


    I have just enabled this feature in your demo and performed all required changes.
