Does a plugin exist to show the progress of forum donations?
Something like this:
I have a box on all pages with a PayPalMe link and it would be an encouragement for members to see contributions/donations progress.

I already set up a box with a PayPal. me link for no cost, so buying extra software defeats the object somewhat, although I appreciate the suggestion.
A progress bar where I could manually input donations would be sufficient, I believe.

Since you have a PayPalMe link (and I am assuming you have an account with PayPal), perhaps you could contact them and ask that they make available such a "Progress Bar" as you mentioned/show in your post #1 above.
PayPal has the knowledge, finances, and the personnel to make such an "addition" to their PayPalMe Module.
You could possibly mention to them this would be a benefit to their other customers (not just yourself).
