Mark all posts as read

On version 5.4 we went back to the forum when we clicked on read all posts under unread posts, but on 5.5 RC1 we are still on unread posts after we have clicked on read all post ???? it should be so in 5.5 version or

Sorry but when I mark all threads as READ I mean that they should go away ..... but in version 5.5 you still have x number of unread threads ..... can someone explain the logic with this
