Open box link in new window?

I have a 'hot news' box on our front page with an image and an external link to the news item.

How can I make that link open in a new window please?

How did you add the link? If you used html code you can add target_"blank" to it like so <a href="https:/yourlink.com" target="_blank">text or an image goes here</a>.

I just copied and pasted the url, like so.

I would use an html box and add the link and image with target=“_blank”.
