Question about using the Apache ReWrite Rules linked to for using in the Admin CP for Core 3.1

  • You link back to these ReWrite Rules from the Admin CP to use with Core 3.1

    These two Rules taken from that above. Are they needed for Core 3.1 that does not use a WCF folder now? And the CMS (or Article System) that comes included in Core 3.1 does not reside in a folder called CMS either. I don't understandf why these two rules taken from that above are listed for using with Core 3..1 that has no CMS or WFC folder used.

    Apache Configuration
    # Rewrite application /cms/
    RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteRule ^cms/(.*)$ cms/index.php?$1 [L,QSA]

    # Rewrite application /wcf/
    RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteRule ^wcf/(.*)$ wcf/index.php?$1 [L,QSA]

    I'm thinking if only running the Core (no other apps installed) with Core 3.1. That the only ReWrite I need use from that is this below

    Apache Configuration
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteBase /

    # Rewrite application /
    RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?$1 [L,QSA]
    </IfModule>

    And if you had the "forum, gallery , blog, filebase and caledar" installed. Then you would use this MINUS them two other rules mentioned above.
