How to create a page for active threads?

I'm still with WSC 3.0 for info.

Using a menu tab called HOME, which links to WATCHED THREADS, I've made it the landing page, but I think it's the wrong page to choose because I clicked unwatch these threads, so the page disappeared - logically, because nothing was being watched. I'm still not sure if the unwatch button is just for admin or it's per user.

I need the landing page to be the active threads showing a list of threads that have been posted in recently, not including likes but I can't seem to find a way of creating an active threads page.

There's a box for active threads, but a box has to go on a page.
