I agree and is it possible we can have all the high quality smilies made available to us. I assume that Woltlab has purchased a licence for them all, so it would be very nice if the full set of smilies were all available to Woltlab customers.

Yes, I noticed the change as well and knew it would rule WBB out from using the newer Emoji set released since. They have also removed the previous set (used here) from downloading now. So anyone that might have wanted to add some extra ones from the same set can't get do it now.

Because my site deals with politics which obviously can be "very" emotive, I need to ensure that the smilies are as clear as possible.

As I said, the default ones that ship with Woltlab are not very clear, in my opinion, at least not some of them and I would like to change them, plus I would like some nice high quality animated ones too.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions for getting decent smilies?

This was also the case in v2, but i havent seen any attribution
