I have used an Encyclopedia CD before. It used to give list events according the time period selected. I would like to say a feature which displays the hot content on that particular period on a timeline. You can a scrollable view where you get to see most happening topics of that particular month. Over an year, it would certainly feature an interesting read.

Good idea.
My forum, is in part, a politics forum. So, members might like to look back to threads created during a election period, as but one possible use of this suggested feature.
