It uses a fixed width for line numbers to contain up to 4-digit numbers, as such it can be a bit too large when smaller numbers. Reducing the width would cause lower numbers to be truncated which is just plain bad.
wouldn't it be possible to set a fixed with depending on the maximum line number ?
Just an additional class set by the maximum linenumber, could simply be done inside the template...
