Where should I place the code that needs to be added to every single page on the forum ? Is there any pre defined box in ACP ?

I want to have something appear on top of the page. Does pasting the code in footer box do that @DynamoGeek ? Thanks for the tip.

The footer is more for things like Google Analytics and its ilk. Is the item you want at the top of every page a piece of information you want all your members to have?

It's a Translate bar. Which offers translation to other languages.

Hmmm. To the best of my knowledge (which is a bit limited ), to add that kind of thing you'll need to pop it into a template (the location for this area is shown in the first image below).
If you choose to go that route, the "searchArea" template may be a good choice (the quick search for this file is shown in the second image below).
Do note that if you put something gross enough in this file you might make your forum puke all over the place.

Well, an other option which i prefer is to use template listeners.
woltlab.com/pluginstore/file/1494/
You can simply add those with this Plugin:
This allows you to add code in most templates, just look for tags like {event name='beforePageHeader'} inside the templates. For you this could be the event beforePageHeader in the header template, this is above every other content
But you need to clear the cache after each change to take effect.

Nice! I'd personally make a plugin to do it, but wasn't going to put forward that suggestion for such a simple seeming thing. The above looks like quite the convenient way to handle it!

You can simply add those with this Plugin:
Does it support 4.1 ?ZitatBurning Board 4.0 / WCF 2.0

It doesn't appear to

Check " Overview " > " Supported Versions " in your screen shot.

Does it support 4.1 ?
I got no problems since i upgraded to 2.1/4.1.
-
I see. Thanks.
-
Most delightful! I may give it a try myself.
-
Yes, works nearly perfect, just automatic cache cleaning is missing^^
As there haven't been to many changes most Plugins from 4.0 also worked in 4.1. -
I would suggest using @SoftCreatR plugin:
https://packages.softcreatr.de/release/2.1/de…translate/1.0.1
This will add the feature to translate the whole page

Had no idea there was a plugin for the same. Does it use Google Translate ?

and it works like a charm. So no need for you to hassle around
INstall the plugin and then your users can use it right away -
And unlike other Google translate integrations, there's not much that gives any information about that you are using Google (except for the WCF styled language selector because you must include proper credits anywhere on the page). The design of the language selector is pretty unique and fits your community design.
