Make Threadlist default forum page.

My forum has ONE forum and I want to make the threadlist for that forum be the default home and landing page for my forum.

What's the best way to do this?

here is my current "home" page

This is what I want to be the home page
http://www.icecreamonmars.com/forum/board/2-adventure-log/

I would like to make the URL just be mysite.com/forum

Can anyone explain how I might go about this? I want the "forum" page button, breadcrumbs and logo to all link back seamlessly to the threadlist as my default home page.

I don't understand how to use the URL rewrite features of WBB either, or even if that would be part of this. Would a 301 redirect from my host be where to start?

I just don't want the links to appear to be redirected. I want it all seamless.

The only other thing I'd like to do is have the URL to this be mysite.com/forum instead of mysite.com/forum/board/2-adventure-log/?id=2, which it is now after the change

So now I'm trying to figure out how to have my domain (https://localhost/www.icecreamonmars.com) automatically forward to (http://www.icecreamonmars.com/forum/board/2-adventure-log/) which is my forum landing page.

To be clear, what I'm trying to figure out how to do is to make the URL for my forum landing page appear as only https://localhost/www.icecreamonmars.com. Everything else is working perfectly.
