centering forum icons

im curious on how i can center forum icons like this http://forumroot.com/index.php their the forum uses mybb but i want to center my forum icons not only horizontally but vertically as well

any help o_O ?

had no effect but the code below did exactly what i wanted but effected the subforums

.icon {
	position: absolute;
	top: 50%;
	transform: translateY(-50%);
}

.icon32 {
	position: absolute;
	top: 50%;
	transform: translateY(-50%);
}

.icon32 did work but is it the correct way ?

edit: effected all the icons

span.icon.icon32.icon-folder-close-alt {
	position: absolute;
	top: 50%;
	transform: translateY(-50%);
