- WoltLab Suite Blog
Currently within blog categories if having top categories and then sub categories, the articles are or seem assigned to top category along with it's child / sub category, but only the sub category is displayed on blog page for where article is assigned too. I originally thought or wasn't sure if this was bug or not. Maybe in 2.2 blog have it display for both so it's less confusing. Example below..
Creating two separate articles in following sub categories "general" for both "Personal" and "Real World" top categories, automatically check marks / includes "Personal" and "Real World" top categories:
- Personal (top category)
-- General
-- Hobbies
-- Family
- Real Word (top category)
-- General
-- Global News
-- Politics
But on blog index page, the articles are both displaying as "General" as where they're assigned too, even though they appear assigned to the top categories as well.
My personal life in general sucks...

The USA sucks...

Maybe have it where it displays as such;
My personal life in general sucks...
smooey - 10 minutes ago - Personal > General
smooey - 10 minutes ago - Personal / General
smooey - 10 minutes ago - Personal, General
The USA sucks...
smooey - 10 minutes ago - Real World > General
smooey - 10 minutes ago - Real World / General
smooey - 10 minutes ago - Real World, General
Then on blog index page, users know right off bat which top categories and child / sub categories the articles belong too and less confusing. Maybe have this done for all woltlab products in general.
