Blog and Forum are two independent applications. Currently there is no possibility to move content from one application to another.

What I meant was that there is no possibility in the current feature list of the two applications.
Additionally, the plugin you‘ve linked to dies the job but for all articles and automatically. As I understood the first post, @PJK wants to manually move single contents by using the moderation dropdown, which is not possible at the moment and as far as I know there is no plugin available for that. -

Correct, not possible currenlty and probably will not be possible ever from the core (denied by WL)

Yes, that's what I wanted to do. It's too bad that the ability to do so doesn't exist. It would be nice if forum posts could be promoted to a blog post too but I see now that isn't possible either.
