Smilies are not inserted at the indicated place

    Hello,


    When I want to add a smiley to a previous sentence or paragraph it is not added at the place I have indicated but at the end of the paragraph. It doesn't matter if the text was pasted or have been typed, the smiley is always added to the end.

    Seems to work fine for me.. have you tried it with another browser? Do you have any browser add-ons activated in your current one - and if so, have you tried disabling them. I copied the above text from http://generator.lorem-ipsum.info/ and posted it directly above then went back and clicked where I wanted to put the smiley and then inserted it.


    I notice it is on the "Create" thread.. what about after the thread is already created and as a reply? Same thing?

    Just tested with Chrome in incognito mode (no addons) and it seems to work but is still not working on Android (Chrome) and iOS (Safari)

    I've had this problem before and I don't know what caused it to happen. It just happened on one day and hasn't occurred since.

    Are you by chance running any ad-blocking software on the browsers?

    Yes, I am. I have ad-blocking on my Desktop browsers but not in the iPhone nor the tablet, the phone is a brand new phone and I don't use it a lot. I hate Apple products. My tablet is a Toshiba running on Android, I don't remember the version (and I don't have it with me at this moment). I don't have ad-block there.

    try it without the ad-block software from the desktop and see how that does. The mobile interfaces are a little different than the desktop in how they are handled in most scripts. I'll try my iPhone 6 and my iPad mini a little later and see how they do.

    Ok first smiley worked, second two went to end of paragraph. I'm using iPad iOS 9.2 safari browser

    Tested on Android (Jellybean and Lollipop), it works when just a few sentences have been added, but smilies are sent to the end if there are long and/or several paragraphs. Same thing in Safari browser iPhone 4 (iOS 7.1.2) and iPhone 6S (iOS 9.2).
