Adding borders question

  • How can I add borders on the left and right side of the main content that would go from the bottom of the page to the top? I want to separate the page background from the content and container areas. I'm using the basic WBB style.

  • CSS
    .navigationHeader, #main, .navigationFooter {
    	border-left: 1px solid red;
    	border-right: 1px solid red;

    red = the color
    You can use hex, rgb or rgba colors.

    When you add the class .mainMenu, to the code above you get the border on the MainMenu too.

    For a bottom border you add

    .footerNavigation {
    	border-bottom: 1px solid red;

    EDIT: You can find some informations here: ...We often use the shorthand property

  • Unfortunately, due to the current basic design this would not set a border around the whole header. Use the following instead:

    You can use hex, rgb or rgba colors.

    Or hsla if you are crazy! 8o
