Burning Board 3.1 - End of Life

Burning Board 3.1 was a milestone in the history of forum softwares, featuring a modern user interface and the most advanced underlying framework among other forums. After more than 6 years since it was released, it is now time to retire. All good things come to an end:

Support for Burning Board 3.1 will be completely dropped as of July 1st 2016. Updates and downloads will remain available until January 1st 2017 (6 months after the official end of life).

Roadmap:

• July 1st 2016
  • Official end of life of Burning Board 3.1
  • Sub forums dedicated entirely to Burning Board 3.1 will be set to read-only
• January 1st 2017 (6 months after the official end of life)
  • Downloads in the customer area will be removed
  • Package Update Servers will be shut down
  • Plugin-Store files for Burning Board 3.1 will be removed

We highly recommend users of Burning Board 3.1 to upgrade to our current stable version Burning Board 4.1.

Burning Board 3.1 has now officially reached its end of life and will no longer be supported.

We would like to advise any users of this version to upgrade to Burning Board 4.1 as soon as possible.
