Patch Day 2015-09-02

We have just released new versions of our products:

• Burning Board 4.0.12 (stability release)
• User Conversation System 2.0.10 (stability release)
• Importer 2.0.12 (stability release)
• Moderated User Groups 2.0.7 (stability release)
• WoltLab Community Framework 2.0.13 (stability release)

Stability releases (also known as "minor releases") aim to solve existing problems in the current version. Like every stability release, they do not introduce new features; It is strongly recommended to apply these updates.

Updating an existing installation (recommended)

Open your Administration Control Panel and navigate to System > Packages > List Packages. Please click on the button Search for Updates located in the right corner above the package list.

Updating an existing installation (alternative)

Navigate to the Download list in our customer area, select the appropriate version and click the Download Update button. Open your Administration Control Panel and navigate to System > Packages > List Packages. Click on the tab Upload package and select the previously downloaded files and upload them one by one, the order does not matter.

Please be aware that the list below does not cover every single change, while it does provide details on important changes, minor fixes (e.g. typos) are left unnoticed.

Burning Board 4.0.12

• Bulk processing did not properly handle the value "0"
• The forum RSS feed showed up the page title despite being the landing page
• Marking boards as read failed with PHP 7
• Deleting disabled posts did not remove the moderation queue entry
• Deleting threads did not properly removed tags, these orphaned connections will be removed during the update

User Conversation System 2.0.10

• The permission check for uploading attachments was flawed
• Setting the option that other participants can invite users incorrectly required the permission to add invisible participants
• Reported conversation messages did not display the author's avatar in moderation

Importer 2.0.12

• Fixed registration via Facebook (issue caused by changes made by Facebook)
• BBCode PIP could cause certain custom attributes to be discarded
• Added proper recognition for Microsoft Edge
• Fixed registration via GitHub (issue caused by changes made by GitHub)
• Sorting by custom user options in the ACP user list was erroneous
