I don't know about that popup much, my main focus was just getting rid of microsoft 10 related updates etc in general. While the popup was annoying when it happened, it wasn't really that annoying to point of wanting to throw computer out window lol. Some where along lines of removing windows 10 related updates in windows 7 though the popup etc stopped and that's what matters to me (getting rid of windows 10 update related things as a whole, out of windows 7).

It wasn't annoying really, it only happened about 1 or 2 times a week seeing it. No big deal.
