4.1 - space is lost and tags don't always workd -- bold text

So assume for a moment you're older and bold just works better for you. You tag someone like @Adam Howard and right away you notice that because I'm using bold it didn't highlight as it should.

You start a new line and oddly the space after you post this will be lost.

Well this has me puzzled. I reproduced this 2x. Once on RC2 and once here
