[4.1] Photo attachment - missing overlay (attachment takes over)

So usually, when you click on a large photo attachment, it either shows up in an overlay or extends within the same window. What you do not need to do is press the back button.

Sadly, something has changed and now when you click on a large attachment, it takes over the window (away from the site and only the photo). And the only way to get back is to press the back button
