Memberlist layout

I notice here the memberlist is a 1 column layout, on 4.0 it is a 2 column layout.

I hope this is an option as a 1 column layout has too much whitespace for my needs.

Can you clarify please?

This has been labled as works as design because there were so many people complaining about the loss of information when the design is to narrow.
Hence they changed it to 1 column view.

So what about all the people who dont like the 1 column view, me included. It should have been an option for everyone.

Just curious, what info was being excluded? Because i see the same info, just now with 3x the whitespace on the right...

You can simply change it via CSS without any problem. No option is needed for this “feature”.

If the design was narrow as said before, and the users had extensive info available one would not be able to see all the information provided.
