Bounced email / invalid email

So it is VERY important that your site not mistakenly end up in some random spam block list. And this can easily happen if you have A LOT of older users (members) who may have old and invalid email addresses.

I would like it if there was a feature that would place such a member in an 'invalid' or 'inactive' state, so that they would be forced to update their email and while in this inactive state, the site would NOT send any emails to this person.

Ideally, it would be nice if such a system could use Mandrill and MailChimp, which my current setup uses. As I have a rule not to ever have a mail server installed. But of course it should also support those who do have mail servers of their own.
