• Howdy Folks:
I'm new here, so I thought I'd say "Hello Everybody." :)

I'm looking into setting up a bulletin board, so naturally I want to use the best software and look where I ended up.
I was a big fan of Suse Linux and it would appear that the same outstanding quality that was standard with Suse looks to be apart of Woltlab's Burning Board 3 -- Bravo!!
I've tinkered with vBulletin (overly complex IMHO) and IP Board (no manuals included with the purchase ?( ), so I really like what I see here. I guess if you want good
software, you should go talk to the Germans. Anyway, I'm still in the process of exploring Burning Board's capabilities to be certain it meets my needs, although
I'm fairly certain it will, I just want to be certain. From what I've seen so far, I'm very, very impressed.

  • Hello to the forums ;)

If you have any questions, just ask them. I'm sure they'll be answered quickly. Have you checked out WBB Lite 2.1 yet? It is based on the same technology as WBB3, but has of course much less features. You might still want to test it, the oerall structure is the same.
