    "Won't be implemented"... I hurt. Everyone can't wait for 4.0 beta to be download ready and this suggestion only gets 1 like.. It's silly. ^^ ^^ ^^

    Yes true.. lol. who needs beta 4, when the german developers gave my english thread it's very own label, it's priceless.. haha. just kidding . :P :thumbup: ^^

    Prying for an early release is kind of a delicate issue since there has been quite a lot of discussion about it in the past. Woltlab's developpers do their best to create high quality software which can take it's time. Promises about release dates are very counterproductive in that matter. You should rather hope that they take their time and release it when it really is finished instead of just throughing out some half ready beta because people can't wait peacefully.

    for everyone, keep in mind, us american / english speaking only folks can't read all these past discussions that were mainly posted in german for previous years and current years, so we're not in the "loop" much at all really. lol. we're trying to get by with what english speaking german folks are here and telling us. i had no clue about discussions from long ago about taking slow time on production, 1) I'm not german speaker, 2) I wasn't around all those previous years, 3) I can't google translate and don't have the time to google translate thousands of german only threads in google translate. :P

    I was suspecting that, which is why I said it. :D
    Basically there has been some criticism in the past because Woltlab announced something might be released around this and that time and then it didn't happen until some time later. Some people got disproportionately pissed about it which is why there is some sense of omitting the issue now. At least that is how I percieved it.

    Makes sense though, giving users "Broken Promises" can get nasty at times. Which is also understandable for not wanting things rushed and quickly pushed out the door. If the developer team pushed it for a date, and it still contained many issues, then users would complain because of too many update releases and issues. It's a never ending battle. But the idea behind this thread was mainly a joke, however, maybe not the best joke. :P I like teasing alex.. :) ^^
