Do you use any of them? Evernote, one note etc...

Note Taking Software
-
-
As Ubuntu user, I have Tomboy as the best integrated note taking software solution, but though I'm a big paper hater and merely read anything else but e-books for studies, I'm still using real "post-it"s, instead of digital replacements
-
like you said, I also read a lot of e-books and i need to have something to organize all of summaries of them. I recently discovered cross platform single file note taking software. That is tiddlywiki, can you use and send your review please?
-
I use post-it because the ones on my computer can only be viewed when my computer is on :).
Actually, I think paper post-its have more power in getting thinks noted done. -
getting thinks noted done
Actually this is another subject, GTD.
I am looking for something which can store my e-book summaries etc. Recently i heard that even lastpass has xss vulnerability, i wouldn't recommend anything which store your notes online and i am not going to use one of them.
I decide to use simple .txt files or for better formating an .odp or .doc document. Then i will store them in my hdd and i bind that folder to my toolbox on windows.

I have to places for notes:
1.) A repository on my svn server, where i store those notes as .txt files or whatever i need. has the nice advantage, that i can see the changes, and see, what was done when and so on
2.) Post-Its on my monitor. Really, they are great

Hardest one among all

I have a Woltlab forum silence that I use just for my notes. It's closed in and no one has access to it.
The same thing can be accomplished by designating a hidden forum on your public forum board since I assume everyone here owns at least one.
For quick notes I'm still a fan of NOTEPAD, old habits die hard!I also use blogspot quite a bit when I'm in the mood to write or copy paragraphs from online content for further review.
Blogs can be set to private. If I start a new subject I open a new blog that can be discarded later. -

Yes, thats also an option. I do have an hidden subboard on my board, and the "Mark as done" function is pretty coolYou can easily keep track of things you have alreyd done and things, that still need to be done xD
