RC1 - Profile visitors are not updating

Yet, if a harasser visited someones profile 200 times in a day, it(the story) wouldn't be known anyway, cause the harasser uses "Registered Users" only to view their online status. Sorry, I just had to say that. Lol Guess we'll have to make warning pages for females then, letting them know there's not much privacy nor protection in the forum. So if there's harassers or sexual predators after them, they're on their own, unless reported to staff team about them. But even then, there's not much else the staff nor themselves can do to keep them (harassers) away from them.

Hopefully someone does, but I've actually been a little concerned about the English "Wishes for plugins" section, because there's really only a small handful of English speaking Germans that view the English section. I've been mentally debating with myself over the past year if I should really be putting my requests in the German section for plugin requests, the requests might get noticed more and handled better there. Just looking at that forum section in German, there's a lot more activity than there is the English side of that forum. Google translator doesn't work great of course, so there would have to be a better translator used to submit the request(s). And you're not allowed to post the requests twice, in two different languages.

You can make your pfile only visible to certain users. So you can solve that quickly.

But I'm curios, even if i were to view someone elses profile 200 times a day, in what way would I harrass them? I don't see the problem with looking at a profile.

Yes true. But what if Sarah only wanted John prevented from viewing her profile, but all other registered users were able to view her profile? If she chooses, "only those I follow" or whatever, and Sarah doesn't follow everyone on the forum, no one else can view her profile at all, including John/harasser. It's why I suggested my "Full Block" plugin the other year, can allow all others except those you're blocking to view all the content, profile, etc.

It tells a story or paints a picture in a sense of someone being stalked and possibly harassed, and would mean that a specific user is constantly viewing someones profile specifically, in a "target" sense. If John viewed Sarah's profile 200 times a day, to either get her information, facebook link, youtube, what-not, or send her conversations, and leave profile wall posts or comments repeatedly, but doesn't do that to other females or members, it's fishy.

If user John only visits any other John or Jane Doe profile on the forums one time only, but Sarah's profile got 200 profile visits in one day (Sarah monitors her profile, John's visit time keeps changing), it's fishy and possibly harassing or stalking or what-not. She could be taking screen shots of his activity at her profile for staff to see it.

Otherwise, it's just Sarah's word against John's. And only other way for staff to have proof, is if John sent Sarah nude photos in conversations or whatever, and Sarah included staff members into the conversation with her and John to view / witness it. But no one knows when someone will turn bad either, and "harassment" can escalate gradually in time too. Everyone assumes every person that joins the forum is a good person, but as time goes on, some turn into bad people or harassers or sexual predators or stalkers etc. All forum communities are ticking time bombs, especially with all the vast mentality of people in them.

But on the other hand, the probability of that happening numerous of times to numerous females might be low as well. It's hard to tell what will happen lol.
