By clicking on the "Dice-BBCode"-button in the editor a window opens. There you can set "Sides per dice" and "Number of dices" as well as "Show eye sum". Who doesn't want to use the window or wonders which BBCode the window inserts:
[dice]5d4[/dice] => 5 dices with 4 sides each are rolled.
The result will look something like this:
A 4-sided dice was rolled 5 times: 2 1 2 3 4.
If the dice are rolled with 6-sided dice, not only the digits are displayed as the result, but Unicode "dice icons".
These match the font color.
The dice BBCode is converted after the first save of the content (post, comment...). It may look like this:
[dice='5'][/dice] => The 5 here is the ID of the dice roll, based on which it is read from the database.
If you hover over the dice roll in a post, you can see when the dice were rolled and how many times they were rolled in this content (post, to-do, article...). This makes falsification nearly impossible. Dice rolls can only be posted based on the ID, if it was originally rolled by this user.
Dice can also be rolled in Modern Shoutbox Pro. However, this requires our free dice BBCode extension.
