Integration of the LaTeX4technics equation editor

This Plugin integrates the LaTeX4technics equation editor into WBB 4.1 . LaTeX4technics is an online equation editor based on a full LaTeX distribution accompanied by numerous helpful features like handwriting recognition or syntax highlighting. The software package is designed to greatly simplify the time consuming task of writing formulas in LaTeX.
Some features:

  • full LaTeX distribution and MathJax-output including syntax checks
  • auto-completion with 280 commands
  • Syntax Highlighting
  • highlighting of matching parentheses
  • auto-compilation and real-time-compilation
  • over 400 shortcuts
  • handwriting recognition
  • save and share with note-system
  • equation management

This plugin adds the equation editor, but no LaTeX engine. It's function is independent from the use of a full latex distribution or clientside rendering like MathJax.

The plugin adds buttons to the redactor editor. You can change the settings in the ACP.
Users can open the LaTeX4technics editor by clicking on the buttons, create the equations and send them back to the redactor editor.
The equation editor can be customized with your logo (Login to the LaTeX4technics Dashboard and create an App-Id. Set this App-Id in the ACP of your WBB-installation).

<script src="https://polyfill.io/v3/polyfill.min.js?features=es6"></script>

<script id="MathJax-script" async src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/mathjax@3/es5/tex-mml-chtml.js"></script>
