Burning Board: Forum Icons 1.1.0

Adds possibility to select distinct icons for each forum

Forum Icons allows selecting an icon for the read state and an icon for the unread state when creating/editing a forum. The icons will be displayed next to the forum in the forum list instead of the default ones. Additionally, you can choose a distinct color for each icon.


Since version 1.1, forum icons can be set globally for all forum.

  • Hallo, kann mir bitte jemand sagen, wo ich das Icon setzen kann? Ich finde die auf den Bildern abgebildete Seite einfach nicht :(

  • Besteht denn die Chance, dass es dieses tolle Plugin auch für 5.1 geben wird?

    • Die Funktion ist doch bereits in die Software integriert.

    • Mir geht es nicht um die Font Awesome Icons sondern um eigene Grafiken als Icons.

    • Kann ich mich nur anschließen. Wird es das geben? Lg :)

      ID des jeweiligen Forums und den Pfad der Grafik noch ändern.

    • Hallo MenikoBlue, und wie mache ich es wenn ich ein Icon für ungelesene und ein Icon für gelesene Foren brauche? Weist wie ich meine? Z.B. eingefärbt für ungelesene Foren und grau für gelesene?

    • @SoftCreatR is working for a new one and there is a BETA-Version of it already. Maybe you get lucky and can test the BETA on his forum -> Forum

    • Finde dazu nichts im Forum.

    Könnten sie eine Version erstellen wo die Bilder auch über HTTPS:// geladen werden können.
    Ich habe ein SSL Zertifikat und die Website wird nicht als Sicher angezeigt.

  • For some reason using timWolla forum icon plugin I have an issue where the original forum icon displays under the new icon I've uploaded. So they both display on the forum. How do I get it to display the custom forum icon?

  • I removed this plugin because all icons pictures increase the number of request for lauching the site.
    Would it be possible to solve this problem ?

  • Klasse Plugin, wie immer: Sehr hilfreich. Aber wie sieht es mit weiteren Icons aus? Font-Awesome hat doch einiges an icons dazu bekommen, welche ich sehr vermisse :(. Kannst Du irgendwie einen Zeitraum für ein Update eingrenzen?

  • ich glaube das funktioniert auch jetzt beim aktuellen wbb 4.1.10 wenn mich nicht alles täuscht. ich hatte es gestern installiert und es ging.
