How can I order WoltLab Suite?

You can order WoltLab Suite at any time in our webshop.

Possible payment methods are PayPal (credit card and SEPA debit), bank transfer, Sofort and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

Please note that bank transfers usually take up to 5 business days from abroad. Payments via PayPal, Sofort and credit card are usually released ad hoc.

Do you offer a test version?

You have the opportunity to test all our products for 14 days in our online demo.

How long it takes until the license is activated?

Bank transfers usually take up to 5 business days from abroad. An activation can only take place when the money is visible on our account. An early release is unfortunately not possible.

If an immediate release is desired, then it is recommended to use PayPal as a payment method. Payments via PayPal are usually released ad hoc.

Why am I unable to post in the community forum?

Our community forum is divided into 2 areas. Questions which arise before the purchase of a license can be asked after the registration in the forum "Pre-Sales Questions".

The support areas for our paid products are reserved for our license holders. In order to be able to write there, you must first verify yourself as a license owner.

Users of our former free product Burning Board Lite 2.x could ask questions in the forum "Burning Board Lite 2.x" until 1 July 2016. In July the support, along with Burning Board 3.1, was discontinued and the support forums were closed for new posts. For more information, see the

Why should error messages are posted as text?

Please post error messages always as text, which they are. Then, the error message can be found over the forum search by others with the same problem.

Screenshots are often very small and therefore difficult to decipher. In addition, the creation of screenshots takes longer than simply copying the text. A text also facilitates the helper's work, since he also can copy important paths etc. from the message, instead of manually write off from the image.

What is the WoltLab Suite Core and where can I download it?

The WoltLab Suite Core is the basic component of WoltLab Suite and provides important basic functions like user management, page management, template engine etc. The free download of the WoltLab Suite Core - e.g. for development purposes - can be found on the following page:Download WoltLab Suite Core

How many times can I install WoltLab Suite?

One "Copy" of the Software entitles the Customer to run a maximum of one (1) public installation of the Software at the same time.
As a license holder you are allowed to install a test forum to which only you have access. The test forum must be secured by a .htaccess directory protection.

This does not apply to WoltLab Suite Core. WoltLab Suite Core is a free CMS and can be installed as often as you like.

Can I edit the copyright?

It is permitted to remove the copyright if you use only WoltLab Suite Core and none of our paid products.

For our paid products, you must purchase the "Branding Free"-license, which allows Customers to remove the respective copyright markers as well as other notes identifying software- or source code.

Where can I find my license and serial number?

The license and serial number can be found in your customer area under "My account → Licenses".

I have lost/forgotten my customer login credentials
