It is possible to upload a new version with the same number as another version in the trash

    Filebase checks by default that there are no two versions with the same version number. If you try to upload a version that already exists it will show an error. However, if that version is in the trash bin that check does not exist. You can then restore the version and there will be two repeat versions.

    Is this the expected behaviour?

    It is definitely an intentional behavior that you can use the version number again if the version was deleted.

    By restoring the version, there may indeed be the same version number multiple times, but this is not a big deal from a technical point of view and does not lead to any errors.
