can not hide old smilies from smilies box

I have old smilies that I don't want any member to use it anymore, but I don't want to delete them, because it will break many posts.

How can I hide those old smilies from smilies box?

It's possible to hide smilies from the smilies box by using CSS:

well, i hope there's a feature to select and deselect them in ACP.
