Unlike earlier, I am able to quote full posts. But when I try to quote selected part of a post, it does not work. Neither on PC, not on mobile.

What exactly do you mean with "It does not work"?
Does the tooltip appear? Is the start and end of the selection within the message text, e.g. not selecting anything outside the text too? Are you using tripple-click in Chrome/Safari to select the text?

There is no selective quoting on mobile as it interferes with the browser tooltips on various platforms (including iOS and Android). On top of that mobile browser incorrectly expose the selected text if the selection was changed by moving these tiny carets, which makes the feature even less usable.

I couldn't get a quoted text on PC as well. At least, the last I checked.

I'm using FireFox here and it got updated last night to a newer version 48.0.2
